HOW TO MEASURE
To choose the correct size for you, measure your body as follows:
1. Bust: Measure around fullest part.
2. Waist: Measure around natural waistline (smallest part)
3. Hips: Measure the widest part of the hips (around your bottom)
1. BUST
Measure your bust carefully around the fullest part. Make sure that the tape measure is parallel to the ground, and lies tight under your armpits and isn’t twisted on the back.
2. WAIST
Measure around your natural waistline. Hold the measure tape tight enough but not too tight.
3. HIPS
Measure exactly 20cm down from your natural waistline, that is your hips line. Make sure that the measure tape is held straight.
4. SKIRT LENGTH
Measure the desired skirt length from the waist line to the floor (ankles, knees, and so on) with the shoes you’ll be wearing on your bridal day, in case you have a floor length dress.
5. BICEP
Measure the fullest point of your arm carefully.
6. SLEEVES LENGTH
Bend your arm slightly, measure the sleeves
length from the highest shoulder point through
the elbow to the very wrist.
7. HEIGHT
Measure your height for your future dress wearing the heels you will wear on your wedding day, to match your height perfectly.
8. BRA CUP
Let us know about the bra cup size you usually
wear and feel comfortable in.

The dress itself is lovely, only thing I had to have altered were the straps as they were too long. The shipping is unfortunately not the best experience. Really disappointed that Australian's are charged an excessive $150 shipping fee, only to find that the dress is balled up and shoved inside a small cardboard box. The item itself is shipped from the warehouse to America first, then on Aus. It was held up in this process, and I had to repeatedly chase the movement of the dress. I'd ordered with enough time for delays, and also enough time to hang the dress to try and get the bad creases from the woeful packaging out (it was still very stiff on the day). If you're in Aus just ensure you've ordered early enough for lengthy shipping/time to hang the garment to get it sit right.
I bought the Rakel dress as a reception dress and absolutely loved it. But, the dress was sent in the wrong measurements so I had to pay to get it altered two weeks before my wedding. I was told by customer service that they would pay for the alterations and that never ended up happening. I sent many emails to follow up and would only get responses every now and then and they would basically start the process over asking what went wrong with the dress and for proof that it was in the wrong size, after I had already submitted it to them multiple times. I never ended up getting reimbursed through the company and ended up having to file a charge back with my bank. And then to top it all off, I find out that my pictures and name are being used for a review that I did not leave. I’m pretty disgusted to find this out and did not approve of those pictures being posted to this website nor would I have left that review after the experience I had.
I loved the dress and it was gorgeous, I’ll give them that. But I would not ever buy a dress from this company after the terrible customer service experience I had and them using my pictures without my permission.
I ordered my rehearsal dress though the Olivia Bottega website after originally falling in love with their designs on Etsy. The customer service was quick and responsive when I had a question around production time and shipping. I ordered a standard size dress, and the fit was great based on my measurements. The dress arrived within just a couple of weeks, and actually was ahead of schedule.
The short, sparkly dress I ordered was perfect! I received so many compliments the night of and since. I would highly recommend Olivia Bottega!
This dress was perfect for my Evening party. Everyone looked at me as soon as entered the room. I received so many compliments and free drinks for being “the prettiest girl of the party”. I was living my ballerina fantasy. 10/10 would recommend
