I ordered the Kerstin gown because I couldn’t find anything that really caught my eye, and this beauty did! I ordered the gown in my specific measurements because I’m a tall, full mama and I wanted minimal additional tailoring. I also ordered it in blush instead of white. I had considered that I may need to ad extra tulle for that real ball gown look, but no. My dress is full and lovely, but not big like a Quinceneara gown. There was a lot of communication to ensure the correct measurements, but once they were confirmed the communication stopped. I had seen that on other reviews so I didn’t worry too terribly much about it. But you guys, when this beauty showed up I was ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE! The gown is what dreams are made of. The quality is superb and I can’t wait to show it off in front of my husband to be and our loved ones. I provided my measurements and she fits like a dream! The only thing I wish I would have customized is that I don’t like the bow (personal choice), but I wasn’t sure if I wanted it or not. It’ll be an easy removal. If you’re on the fence, kick the fence down and order it. You will be so in love 🥰 Hopefully I can add more photos when I’m all decked out, but for now I’ll share what I have.

I ordered my dress and I’m so happy that I did, I had many compliments. I recommend for all the brides that want an authentic dress. The shipping was on time and always they was on the lookout waiting for my dress to arrive. I love my dress!!

5/5 for the dress looking exactly like it does on the website. 4/5 for the customization process. First, I would like to say that I am very grateful for the staff at Olivia Bottega, especially 'Shipping OB' and the seamstresses. The dress is beautiful. I first met with the seamstress to discuss the customization I wanted (added off-shoulder sleeves, wanted to make the dress less "poofy", shorten the train, and remove the pleating on the top part). It was a lot of back and forth and follow-up to make sure everything was communicated. I wish it had been done over video aside from the initial meeting which was over video. It did take some effort occasionally to receive a follow-up, but I always did in regard to my order. Unfortunately, the first time around the dress didn't turn out as expected and they ended up remaking the entire dress. I felt awful that it had to be redone, but the staff at Olivia Bottega is committed to making everything right. Granted, to make it easier due to communication differences (they are based in Russia, and they are experienced designers so sometimes ideas may not be communicated easily with someone who does not know designer terms) we agreed to make the modifications simpler. So, I stuck with the same "poofiness/fullness" of the dress as shown and had the framing underneath removed by a tailor after receiving it. The first picture is with the framing removed which made it very "puffy". Everything was wonderful with shipping and the seamstress triple checked all modifications the second time they made the dress. It's absolutely gorgeous and I love it because it's custom. I will say that it has a TON of glittery fallout. It leaves trails of glitter everywhere so it will have to be worn only at the venue. However, it is truly beautiful. The back is a classic corset back that has to be closed by someone else. The zipper also gets stuck frequently when I try and close it but with some patience and effort it comes up. All in all, it cost me around $1,500 plus an additional $100 for the tailor to remove the netting underneath afterwards. I think this is a great option if you are looking for a custom designer wedding dress for a price point that will make you happy. It is a bit of work to make sure everything goes correctly, but the staff at Olivia Bottega really do care about your satisfaction and your vision. I think what would make this a 5/5 is if they had communication aids/other staff available to talk between the amazing seamstresses and customers so that ideas are communicated clearly (I am not a designer, so I do not know how to say "less puffy" in a manner that makes technical sense). I also think there needs to be at least 2 video meetings prior to making a custom dress to discuss customization details so that decisions can be solidified and confirmed. If it was ordered with no customization or something simple, like just adding off-shoulder sleeves, I'm sure it would be a lot easier. I will say, they make the dresses so amazingly fast! They are working hard to deliver your dream! The sizing was perfectly on point (which also required additional emails to confirm). However, it is incredible and fits like a glove. I'm very petite so I was very worried, but it's perfect. Make sure to take your measurements with heels of similar or exact height to the ones you want to wear on the day of. If I had to do it all over again, I would certainly choose Olivia Bottega again, but would approach the customization process differently. These dresses are what dreams are made of. It is hard to find dresses like these in American retail stores. So beautiful. The packaging it came it was also so beautiful.
