They stole over 1k of my money I worked hard for a dress and keep lying to me about where my dress went and lied to me saying they were shipping it out and didn't. I went out on a limb ordering my wedding dress online and the experience was wonderful!
I wanted a tea length dress since we choreographed an intricate first dance and the dress was PERFECT. It moved so beautifully, the videos came out so great. I love how the sparkles look like stars in photos with flash. I wore it with the straps up for the reception and honestly preferred that look. I did send in custom measurements and it's a good thing I didn't lose any weight before the big day as my dress didn't have any room to go tighter (perhaps one size down on the corset so that I could have used the mid range on the lace back). The lace back was also a bit tricky to get to hold, had to use a double knot!

This was the first dress I pinned on Pintrest and the one I ended up purchasing about a year and a half later. I tried on so, so many dresses in all different silhouettes, fabrics, and styles but none of them ever compared to this one. I reached out and had an online consultation, got to see first hand what the dress looked like and after that it was so easy to order it. I was very apprehensive about ordering online but everything went smoothly and turned out amazing. When my dress came I must have tried it on every single time my fiancé left the house because I was so absolutely in love with it! It fit perfectly, it looked exactly how I had always imagined my wedding dress would look and I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day! I can not recommend this dress enough!

When I got engaged last Winter and started researching bridal shops, Olivia Bottega stood out to me against all of the other stores in Virginia or otherwise. My appointment definitely exceeded my expectations. My stylist immediately greeted me with enthusiasm and kindness over video chat! She made me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment and it was clear that she is a pro in helping brides find their perfect dress. I went in there nervous that I wouldn't be able to decide on a dress, but her expertise and guidance made the whole process easy and exciting.
I recommend Olivia Bottega to any bride who is looking for an elevated experience when finding their dress!
The good: My dress was beautiful! I purchased the Enn nude floral lace gown (and took off the train). It was ever so sparkly! Every time I wore it, I left a trail of glitter all over the place. It made me feel like a princess, and I received a myriad of compliments on my wedding day. The flower lace fit so well with our enchanted forest theme. I was glad to wear a gown that had a bit of color to it rather than being pure white. And it wasn't a super heavy gown compared to some things out there - dancing in it was a piece of cake!
The not-so-good: I was a little frustrated with the sizing. Even though I was professionally measured before ordering, the dress still did not fit right on arrival. I did not gain or lose any weight between being measured and receiving the dress. It was a too big on the torso/bust area. When I took it in for alterations, the local shop's solution was to pinch up the shoulders, but then that ended up making the arm holes too small. My bridesmaid & I had to re-alter the dress once again to let out the underarms and avoid chaffing. So I'm frustrated that I spent so much money on a gown that needed multiple rounds of alterations to fit comfortably. Though I do love my dress immensely, I probably could have spared a lot of time & headache if I had purchased something that I could try on beforehand.
To preface, I was 7 months pregnant at my wedding - 32 weeks. I didn’t have many choices for my shape or would-be shape. Dress shopping was hard. So when I found a company that would work with me to take my exact measurements, and had beautiful dresses that I actually liked, I was so excited. Between planning a baby shower, planning a wedding, and the usual pregnancy things (bodily changes, hormones, symptoms, etc) it was really important to me that this aspect would be simple. It should be when you order a dress, provide measurements and receive a fulfillment date. The actual results? Timelines not met, poor or delayed communication, confusion/stress, and my dress didn’t arrive until literally the night before my wedding (I wish I was exaggerating). When we were two weeks out from my wedding - and two weeks past my original fulfillment date - I still had not received the dress or an update about the dress. When I reached out to customer care, I received responses days later - if I received a response at all - and the messages were pacifying and unclear with no real answers. There was a point where the dress was the only detail about my wedding that was not covered. I spent an additional $1k on cheap “backup dresses”. I essentially had to chase down the team (by going on their social media) to get any real updates about my dress and had to directly tell my customer care person to be honest with me (after a week of next to nothing). The only resolution they offered was to continue to wait. What’s not in their control is material delays, shipping delays, etc. What absolutely is in their control - prompt communication, proactive resolution, and honesty. I am not confident that if my dress had not arrived in time that I would have received a refund.
BUT it did the night before. It was beautiful, it fit beautifully, it beautifully covered my pregnant belly (which was my goal), and it was very easy to put on, bustle, dance in. It didn’t need a petticoat, the material was excellent. It flowed beautifully down the aisle, it landed right at the height it needed to (I didn’t trip once!) and I LOVED the dress.
For that reason, I can give 3/5 stars despite the high blood pressure stress I experienced working with the company.
I felt so comfortable and so glamorous in my dress. I was timid about buying a dress online without seeing it or feeling it, but decided to take the leap. I’m glad I did! I went with the ‘Custom Fit’ option. I received emails from Sadie with questions and we were able to get things were figured out. The dress came folded up in a box, so I would recommend having a steamer on hand. The material felt thick and luxurious. The laced up back was beautiful. I loved how short the dress was. I do feel like sitting was a little difficult but overall, I would order again from Olivia Bottega. The craftsman ship is there, the quality is there, and the price is unbeatable!
I changed into this dress for my wedding after dinner for dancing and it was perfect. All my guests loved it and the quality was amazing, especially as I chose custom measurements. The sparkles went everywhere but that was as expected. And this is something I could see myself wearing at some point again, unlike my first wedding gown. I highly recommend this dress!

I wanted a short dress that still looked and felt like a bridal dress. This dress checked every box! Gorgeous and so sparkly in person. The flower beading throughout the dress is subtle, but truly adds to its elegance. The sleeves are soft and feminine. The sequins at the very top (where the dress meets your skin) can be a bit scratchy because well….sequins. However, I just made sure to lotion the area before wearing and it was fine.
I ordered the Meryem dress at the beginning of 2023. I was stressed about ordering online but hopeful. After speaking to Kate and providing my measurements, she advised me on the ideal sizing.
It ended up being perfect, albeit a bit long so I went ahead and got a professional seamstress to shorten it at the front so it could be perfect with my 85mm heels.
I paired the dress with matching veil (Indjoy) in 450cm. The full effect of dress and veil made me cry.
With the wedding fast approaching (March 2024), I got the Kay dress, custom made in blush so I can wear it as my getting ready dress.
Both dresses and the veil are absolutely beautiful.
I had a sunny and delightful March wedding and was able to wear everything. People applauded from the venue all the way to the church.
Truly grateful to have been the belle of the ball. It truly felt like a fairytale with the castle and my hubby in his white tie attire.

My dress and veil are now professionally dry cleaned and stored in a museum grade box, until I get my custom shadow box built into our home. Wonderful keepsake for a magnificent wedding and an even happier marriage.
