I began working on the design of my dress in October 2023 and finalized it before the end of the year, with my consultant to reach out in May/April to get my measurements for my September 2024 wedding. When she reached out, all details of my design had been lost and so I had to redo that entire lengthy design consultation process. I was told that the design would cost more than the originally quoted price (in writing). After back and forth and sharing the documented cost, I was able to get the original price. I requested a new consultant however was not granted the request.
I had in writing that the dress was to arrive no later than 8/1 in case I needed alterations (and I would also be out of state for a week the following week), however that date came and went. The dress was apparently "lost" in transit, and I spent hours on the phone trying to locate the dress. When it was finally located, it was overnighted with signature required while I was out of state with no one to sign for the package. I again spent hours on the phone to reschedule the delivery date for when I was home to sign. The new date came and went, no dress. More time on the phone, and I finally received my dress, almost 2 weeks past the agreed upon delivery date.
The dress did need alterations, and I scrambled to find someone. The alterations will be done 2 days before my wedding, and hopefully all will be well.
The dress is beautiful, however the sleeves did not come out at the length I had requested (and so are a little short) and the skirt length needs to be hemmed, despite paying extra for super custom sizing.
If I hadn't had so many stressful things happen surrounding the dress, I'd probably give it 4 stars for the dress alone.
